Louis practices corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. He is experienced in all areas of corporate and commercial law including the buying or selling of a business, establishing new businesses, corporate and tax reorganizations, financing transactions, leasing and the drafting of shareholders and partnership agreements.

As part of his corporate and commercial practice, he regularly advises dentists, doctors and other regulated health care professionals and has published several articles in leading health care journals. He understands how to negotiate the acquisition, sale and financing of a health care practice and does so in a timely and cost effective manner.

Louis is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, Ontario Bar Association and Canadian Bar Association. He has served on the board of York Central Hospital Founda­tion (now Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital) and is past-president of Community Living York South.
